Classics Philharmonic Concertmaster Healy Henderson will share all there is to know about the amazing VIOLIN. From plucking to strumming and everything in-between, you won't want to miss this introduction into the wonderful world of the fiddle. We'll work together to musically accompany a story, make a craft project, and try our hands at making a sound on this member of the string family.

Is that a bird I hear? Or someone whistling? No, it’s the flute! Flutist Ann Erwin makes a star appearance to share all about this ancient and amazing instrument just in time for Bastille Day. Oh La La! We’ll work together to musically accompany a Madeline story, make a French themed craft project, and try our hand at making a sound on this wonderful instrument. $10 per child (adults are FREE!). Kick off the summer with an out-of-this-world musical experience! Classics 4 Kids is celebrating “National UFO Day” with oboist and award winning soundscape artist Scott Paulson. From learning about the electronic instrument called the theremin, to participating in a sound-effect radio drama of an alien who has landed on Earth, this is one Kids’ Connection you don’t want to miss. $10 per child (adults are FREE!).
