About Sharon Katz:
From Carnegie Hall to The Getty in LA, South Africa’s Sharon Katz & The Peace Train Band electrify audiences with their high-energy fusion of Afro-Jazz, Rock, Folk, and global dance music. Known for their historic Peace Train tour that formed a 500-voice multicultural youth choir to help end Apartheid, the band has since performed and led workshops across three continents, released 10 albums (5 Grammy ballot nods), starred in the award-winning When Voices Meet film, and recorded with legends like Elton John, Tina Turner, Paul Simon, and Sting.

About John Rush:
Former Classics 4 Kids Boardmember
John Rush was a guiding presence and a true mentor to many of us. He was always there with kind words and wise advice. He served on the Classics 4 Kids Board of Directors, as well as the Foundation for the Children of the Californias, and was deeply involved in the Charity Ball to benefit Rady Children’s Hospital. Classics 4 Kids is honored to dedicate our November concerts to John’s memory, celebrating unity and connection.
