Discover the science and art behind what we see and hear. Students will explore sound and light waves, color theory, and how composers and artists express emotion through tone, texture, and hue. In partnership with The San Diego Museum of Art, this STEAM-powered performance combines classical music performed by the Classics Philharmonic Orchestra with bold visuals and hands-on learning about how sound and color shape our world.

Balboa Theatre is located at 868 Fourth Ave, San Diego, 92101 (Downtown) – paid parking at Horton Plaza Garage – $10
Joan B. Kroc Theatre is at 6611 University Ave, San Diego, 92115 – free parking.
Please note: students traveling in private cars are encouraged to attend our concerts at the Joan B. Kroc Theatre to avoid parking fees.
