LIVE AUDIENCE: All shows are 45 minutes long. Join the Classics Philharmonic Orchestra, Conductor Dana Zimbric, special guests from Southwestern College Mariachi Garibaldi, and Folklorico dancers for a celebration of music from Mexico. Designed for students in grades K-5, the music selections focus on works by Mexican composers, original arrangements for orchestra and mariachi by Jeff Nevin, and traditional Mariachi pieces. The bilingual (Spanish/English) program works to inspire resilience and joy for students in the audience through storytelling, music, and dance.

This educational performance will use music to teach students about local animal biology, the physics of their sounds, and the importance of preserving their habitat and sustaining our environment through storytelling and music.
