In-Person Concert: La Música de Mexico


November 17th & 18th, 2022– 9:45am or 11:30am - Join the Classics Philharmonic Orchestra, Conductor Dana Zimbric, special guests from Southwestern College Mariachi Garibaldi, and Folklorico dancers for a celebration of music from Mexico. Designed for students in grades K-5, the music selections focus on works by Mexican composers, original arrangements for orchestra and mariachi by Jeff Nevin, and traditional Mariachi pieces. The bilingual (Spanish/English) 45-minute program works to inspire resilience and joy for the 800 + students in the audience through storytelling, music, and dance.
