We are proud to share our progress in providing equitable access to music education in 2024:
- 37,469 students were reached through our virtual and in-person programming, with 71% from Title 1 (under-resourced) schools.
- We served 277 schools across the nation, with 165 of these qualifying as Title 1.
- 94 bus scholarships were awarded to Title 1 schools, ensuring transportation access to our concerts.
- 96 professional artists were employed, enriching the experiences of our students.
- 2,730 students at 9 schools received our assemblies on campus with professional musicians from the Classics Philharmonic Orchestra.
- Our volunteer docents visited 38 schools, engaging 3,255 students and 143 teachers through pre-concert classroom sessions.
- Over 256 volunteer hours were contributed by 7 docents, 10 Gala volunteers, 15 concert volunteers, and 3 interns, reflecting an in-kind service value of $9,500.
- We served 150 people at Free Family Concerts at libraries in La Mesa and Chula Vista.
- Our Ukulele Residency Program provided 340 students with hands-on instrument instruction.
- We brought music education to 178 students through the Level Up Summer Program in SDUSD.
These milestones reflect the collective effort and passion behind our mission, and we are excited to continue expanding opportunities for students in 2025.
